Marquez & Pedrosa Launch The 2016 CBR150R In Indonesia
Honda Motorcycles has finally provided their CBR150R model with a complete design overhaul. Unfortunately, the 2016 CBR150R is not launched in India and is available in Indonesia. Present at the launch event were Honda MotoGP riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.
The 2016 Honda CBR150R is powered by the same 149.16cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Performance figures have been improved for a more spirited riding experience. The engine now produces 16.89bhp along with 13.7Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Four exciting colour options are provided to the 2016 CBR150R by Honda. The colours are called Revolution White, Nitro Black, Honda Racing Red, and a MotoGP Edition as well. Starting price of the new CBR150R model is IDR 32.5 million or Rs. 1.66 lakh India equivalent.
In terms of design, Honda designers have revamped the motorcycle totally. The 2016 CBR150R gets dual headlights, split seats, aggressive bodywork and much more. Several motorcycle enthusiasts would also say that the 2016 CBR150R looks somewhat similar to its competitor, the Yamaha YZF-R15.
Honda will surely benefit if the 2016 CBR150R model can be launched in India soon. Currently, sales have not been great for Honda, in regards to their CBR150R and CBR250R models. Both models are dire need of a major facelift or design overhaul in the Indian market.
