Honda CBR 250RR To Make World Debut On July 25th; What About India?
The motorcycle everybody is talking about right now is the Honda CBR 250RR. Now, according to a few sources, the quarter-litre sportsbike is scheduled to make world debut on July 25, 2016 in Indonesia. Again, we would not vouch for it until we have confirmation.
A few Indonesian media have also received an invitation from Honda for the 25th for a motorcycle event.
The Honda CBR 250RR will be based on the Japanese motorcycle maker's light weight supersports concept that was showcased during the Tokyo Motor Show last year. The motorcycle is expected to be powered by a twin-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Although performance figures are not out yet, the CBR 250RR is expected to come with ride-by-wire throttle and riding modes, to make it more suitable for the streets. Other features expected are LED light strips, projector headlights, and inverted (upside down) forks.
Once launched, it will compete with the Yamaha R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300. So will it come to India? The answer to that is only time will reveal. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
