unveiled
a
new
small-capacity
adventure
motorcycle
at
the
China
International
Motorcycle
Trade
Exhibition
in
Chongqing.
The
model
is
called
CBF190X.
It is styled as a dual-purpose sports-tourer in sub-200 cc model range. Powering the motorcycle is an 184 cc SOHC air-cooled single cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 15bhp at 11,000 rpm and 14.9Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
It's unclear whether this model will be sold in India or any other markets outside China. There are two other variants with the same engine spec - the CB190R and CBF190R - both are China-only models.
We don't think this motorcycle will become a successful product in the outside market. More powerful and promising BMW G310 GS and Suzuki GS250 V-Strom are very ready to hit the markets. If Honda makes a sub 300cc tourer model, then the game is on.
