Honda Activa Contributes To The Overall Industry Sales Charts

Honda Activa is the top-selling two-wheeler in India for the last seven months and is becoming a serious challenger to remain on top. In March 2014, the Hero Splendor made way for the Honda Activa as the topper, Splendor was the best-selling two-wheelers for 15 years.

The Honda Activa has contributed not just to the company but the overall sales of the two-wheeler industry as well. It has added 38 percent to the industry's growth, playing a pivotal role in the industry.

Since January 2016, the Honda Activa has continued to rule at the top of the best-selling two-wheeler. In July 2016, the Honda Activa achieved widest sales margin with a lead of 58,413 unit sales.

Honda has sold a total of 256,173 units of Activa in July, the highest monthly sales since its launch back in 2001. Senior vice president, Sales, and Marketing, YS Guleria said, "We are happy that the Activa continues to cheer us with ever-increasing monthly volumes and leading the industry volume chart. July saw the maximum lead over the Splendor with the Activa leading by 58,413 units,"
