Study Says: Hero MotoCorp Is The Trending Online Auto Brand
According to an industrial study by Vidooly, a video intelligence company, Hero MotoCorp is the India's most online viewed auto brand in India.
Hero MotoCorp became the leading auto brand averaging over 1.3 million viewers across the video sharing platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter.
The study by Vidooly was conducted across 19 leading automobile brands in India. The study included 13 car brands.
Hero MotoCorp is followed by Audi India with an average of 524,000 viewers across the social media. Chevrolet India also follows a close third with 414,000 views across social media.
Mahindra and BMW India are in the 4th and 5th spot with an average of 179,000 views and 165,000 views.
In the study conducted, Youtube has emerged as the dominant platform for content sharing of choice by auto brands followed by Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
According to a statement by Google, Indians spent over 400,000 hours watching Youtube ads this year . Also, Facebook's second-largest market is India after the United States. Keeping in line with these trends auto manufacturers are taking more advantage of digital video to promote their brands.
