Want To Meet Indian Dakar Rally ‘Hero’? Here’s Your Chance
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp (HMCL) entered international rallying scene earlier this year in May. The team was named as Hero Motorsports Team Rally, with Indian Dakar hero CS Santosh and Portuguese rider Joaquim Rodrigues representing the team.
Hero will enter 2017 Dakar rally with the hopes of a strong result. Leading up to the event Hero is organising a press meet on 18 - 19 September at Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. Where we will get to meet the team up-close.
Hero MotoCorp has collaborated with German off-road rally expert Speedbrain GmbH to enter the off-road rally sport. An upgraded version of Speedbrain 450 rally motorcycle will be used by the team and it may be even showcased in the press meet. But the main topic will be entering 2017 Dakar rally.
The research and development centre of Hero MotoCorp is a hub to all of company's current and future innovations. And it will play an important role in developing the rally motorcycle in the future. CIT also features a 16km test track, comprising of 45 different surfaces. This may be the reason behind this press meet organised by Hero.
