The upcoming Hero Passion iSmart has been spotted at what appears to be a company dealership.
The appearance of the new variant of the Passion at the dealership suggests that the launch of the new bike is imminent with Gaadiwaadi claiming that the bike is set to launch on September 26.
The new Passion iSmart features Hero's i3S (Idle-stop-start system) which helps improve fuel efficiency and is a boon in stop-go traffic in the cities.
The i3S system is essentially an automatic start-stop system that helps to increase the mileage of the motorcycle.
The iSmart will feature Hero's new 109.15cc engine which was first seen on the Splendor iSmart 110 that was launched on July 14.
On the Splendor, the BS-IV compatible engine produced 9.2bhp and 9Nm of torque and was mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
Cosmetic changes on the bikes will be limited to a few added colours and body graphics.
The new Passion iSmart will also feature Automatic Headlamp, a feature that will become standard on all motorcycles and scooters plying on Indian roads in the near future.
