Hero MotoCorp Sells 532,113 Units Of Two-Wheelers In July 2016

Hero MotoCorp continues to keep its momentum in sales by registering more than 5 lakh units of two-wheelers. This is an increase of 9.13 percent when compared to July 2015.

Most of its sales came from the 100cc segment, where it is a leader, it dominated even the 125cc segment with the models of Glamour and Super Splendor. Its scooter, the Maestro, and Duet also maintained the growth trajectory.

Last year, Hero MotoCorp sold 487,580 units in July 2015, this year it has performed better with more than 9 percent increase in its sales.

Recently, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer launched the Splendor iSmart 110, which is the first indigenously built by its in-house R&D team at their state-of-art Hero Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.

The company said that it is cautiously optimistic about the positive turnaround in the industry in the second part of the year. This was mainly due to the above average monsoon and the implementation of the 7th pay commission's recommendations.
