Hero MotoCorp Eyes FY 2017 To Launch Over 10 New Products
Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer has plans to launch 15 new products for the Financial Year (FY) of 2017. These new products include the ones that will be launched in the domestic as well as the international markets.
The new launches lined up for FY 2017 include the new Achiever 150 motorcycle, the Hero Super Splendor, and the Passion PRO, which will all see the inclusion of Hero's i3S (idle-stop-start) technology.
Pawan Munjal, the CEO, Managing Director, and Chairman of Hero MotoCorp said in a statement, "We will have 15 new launches across segments in our domestic and global markets this fiscal, out of which three motorcycles will be introduced in the domestic market before the festive season."
Munjal also said that the Gujarat plant will become operational during the third quarter of this fiscal year. The CEO also said that the company has appointed a distributor in Argentina and will launch the Hero brand in January 2017. Sales in Nigeria will start soon, added Munjal.
