American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has revealed the latest bike in its Sportster range called the Roadster. Prices for the Roadster start at $11,119.
The new Roadster is powered by a 1200cc, air-cooled V-twin engine that kicks out 103Nm of peak torque at just 3,750rpm. The engine vents out its anger through a set of dual chrome-tipped exhausts.
The new Roadster features 43mm inverted front forks with 114mm travel and twin gas charged emulsion coilover shocks with 81mm travel at the rear.
Braking duties on both the 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch wheel (both of which are made from cast aluminium) are handled by twin disc brakes. ABS is an optional extra.
The Roadster is 2184mm long, has a wheelbase of 1506mm and sits 152mm above the ground.
Design features include a blacked out engine and headlamp, grey air filter, lowered handlebars, chopped rear fender and a side mounted rear registration plate.
The new Roadster is available in three solid colours - Black Denim, Vivid Black, and Velocity Red Sunglow as well as in a Billet Silver/Vivid Black two-tone with Burgundy pinstriping.
Custom tank graphics are an optional extra and Harley has provided a whole range of other customization options for the new Roadster as well.
The new Roadster will go on sale in the US in the month of June.
