‘Harley And The Davidsons’ Will Come To India Soon
The Discovery Channel will soon premiere its new show 'Harley and the Davidsons' in India. The programme is a three-part miniseries providing insights into the birth of the American motorcycle brand - Harley Davidson.
The show will also reveal the journey of Harley Davidson's founders - Walter and Arthur Davidson and their friend Bill Harley. The first episode will be aired in India on October 14, 2016, at 9pm IST. This will be a weekly series with the other two episodes scheduled for the next consecutive Fridays.
As for the story, it revolves around the three founders and showcases the struggles and challenges they faced during their journey to establish the Harley-Davidson Motor Co.
The show is set up at the start of the 20th century when the three founders fought all challenges and the begun the company out of a shed in Milwaukee, US.
The miniseries also emphasises the importance of Harley Davidson racing days which showcases the motorcycle's robustness and reliability of the brand.
The miniseries from Discovery Channel portrays multiple important milestones in Harley's 100-year legacy and its partnerships with various biking clubs, securing a contract from the U.S. army, the survival of the Great Depression.
Also, seen are the few aspects of the famed rivalry between Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles.
The cast of the TV miniseries by Discovery Channel has Michiel Huisman and Robert Aramayo who are playing Walter Davidson and Bill Harley, respectively.
As for the role of Arthur Davidson, it has been played by Bug Hall. Discovery Channel released it in the U.S. on September 5, 2016, and the producers are claiming a viewership of 4.4 million.
