Harley-Davidson Launches The Roadster And Road Glide Special In India

The iconic American motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson has launched its 2017 range of motorcycles in India. Harley-Davidson has also launched two all-new motorcycle - Roadster and Road Glide Special in India.

The 2017 range of Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be equipped with ABS across all the models and some minor cosmetic changes as well.

The Harley-Davidson Roadster is powered by 1,200cc V-twin Evolution air-cooled engine which is also used in the 1200 Custom.

Launched at a price of RS 9.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) the Harley-Davidson Roadster is the newest addition to the popular Sportster family of motorcycles and will be assembled at Harley-Davidson's plant in Bawal, Haryana.

The Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special will sport an all-new 1,745cc Milwaukee Eight 107 Single Cam V-twin engine which produces a peak torque of 150Nm.

With its all-out aggressive style, the Road Glide Special motorcycle takes the touring must-haves making it the motorcycle of choice for the high-mileage road warrior. The Road Glide Special is priced at Rs 32.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Harley-Davidson Road King, Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special gets the all-new Milwaukee Eight engines. The Milwaukee Eight engines are ninth in the lineage of the company's iconic Big Twin engines.

The new engine delivers more power, quicker throttle response, purer sound, a smoother ride and an improved motorcycling experience for riders and passengers while retaining the iconic look, sound and feel of its predecessors.

The touring range of Harley-Davidson motorcycles also gets new suspension components for both front and rear. Which will help in improving the ride quality of the motorcycle.
