EBR Motorcycles Unveils The Black Lightning
The company says the Black Lightning has been tuned to make the motorcycle suitable for street riding; the handlebars are positioned higher and the gearing has been lowered to gain better acceleration
EBR Motorcycles have unveiled the Black Lightning - a street-fighter derived from the 1190SX.
The Black Lightning is the first model to be unveiled in 2016 from EBR, and had teased us earlier saying "something quick, dark and low."
Although we expected EBR to come up with something similar to a Ducati Diavel, the Black Lightning does look like it has the potential of an all-around performer.
Powering the Black Lightning is EBR's water-cooled, 1190cc, v-twin engine, which has been made in-house.
EBR claims that the twin-cylinder is good to produce 182Bhp. The company says the Black Lightning has been tuned to make the motorcycle suitable for street riding; the handlebars are positioned higher and the gearing has been lowered to gain better acceleration.

EBR will be selling the Black Lightning with a price tag of $13,995(Rs. 9.5 Lakh). Apart from the Black Lightning, rumours suggest there could be a 1190 Adventure bike coming our way from EBR.
