Ducati To Launch New Cruiser In The Indian Market By September
Ducati Motors will be launching the XDiavel cruiser in the Indian market sometime during the festive season. The XDiavel will be offered in two variants for the Indian market. This will be Ducati's first attempt of introducing a proper cruiser for India.
Here are the two variants and estimated pricing of Ducati XDiavel:
- Ducati XDiavel will cost Rs. 15.50 lakh ex-showroom
- Ducati XDiavel S will cost Rs. 18.10 lakh ex-showroom
Powering the XDiavel and XDiavel S is a 1262cc L-twin Testastretta engine with liquid-cooling. The engine produces 155bhp, along with 129Nm of peak torque. Ducati engineers have included riding modes, launch control, traction control, and cornering ABS.
The XDiavel will be available in matte black paint scheme, while the XDiavel S will be offered in glossy black colour option. Ducati XDiavel S also gets a premium seat, Bluetooth connectivity, infotainment system, and different alloy wheels compared to the standard model.
The Ducati XDiavel will compete with the likes of Harley-Davidson Breakout and Triumph Thunderbird Storm. The XDiavel can be pre-booked across India at Ducati dealerships for an amount of Rs. 2 lakh. On offer will be a two-year or unlimited kilometres warranty on the both variants.
