Ducati Supersport And Supersport S To Be Showcased At Intermot 2016
Ducati tried its best to keep it as a secret about their next project codenamed as Project 1312, rumoured as a 939cc street fighter model. But few managed to take some snaps from the World Ducati Week event and leaked it on the internet.
The new motorcycle which will be available in two variants, Supersport and Supersport S will be placed below the Panigale 959. Although Ducati has remained silent about the tech-specs about the new motorcycle. But taking a closer look at the leaked images suggest that there will be an all-new product from Ducati.
Project 1312 Product Manager Paolo Quattrino confirmed that the Supersport is not just a concept, and will hit the markets in 2017. The new motorcycle will be built on trellis frame, and it will share some components from Ducati's other motorcycles, apart from that it will be an all-new product.
The engine will be tuned to deliver smooth performance, and will boast features such as, ABS, three ride modes - sport, touring, urban, 8-level traction control Diablo Rosso II tyres and fully adjustable suspension. The motorcycle will be showcased at 2016 Intermot on October 4, 2016.
