Ducati’s Globetrotter 90 Project Enters Its Sixth Phase
Ducati's “Globetrotter 90” consists of a new Multistrada 1200 Enduro and seven riders that will take it around the world.
We had earlier reported about Ducati's "Globetrotter 90" celebrations where 7 riders, including India's Vir Nakai, will be riding the new Multistrada 1200 around the globe as part of the celebrations.
Ducati's grand trip, consisting of seven riders and seven phases, will be entering the sixth stage now, taking the motorcycle back to Europe.
Australian rider, Steve Fraser has concluded his journey on the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro to New York. After this, the "torch" and the Multistrada have returned to Lisbon, Europe. From Lisbon, Hugo Wilson, 54-year0old rider will ride the Multistrada Enduro to the Isle of Man.
Hugo, who is an avid rider and photographer has already traveled across the length and breadth of Europe on motorcycles. His passion for motorcycling started at the very young age of 10 when he first saw his cousin on a Ducati.
Hugo Wilson will stop at various places. He will first visit Silverstone, and then the Donington Park circuit in the UK.
The Multistrada 1200 Enduro used for the Globetrotter 90 will be showcased at the Birmingham Motorcycle Live show.
The final stop of the sixth stage of Globetrotter 90 will be at the Isle of Man, where Mike Hailwood won the 1978 Tourist Trophy with the Ducati 900 SS TT IOM.
