Ducati Commence Pre-Booking For Hyperstrada 939 & Hypermotard 939 In India
Ducati has commenced bookings for its all-new Hyperstrada 939 and the Hypermotard 939 models in India. Both the motorcycles can now be booked at Rs. 2 lakh as a token amount.
The main reason for introducing these new models in the Indian market is the new Euro 4 emission norms. Previously, both models were equipped with Euro 3 compliant 821cc engines.
In India, the Hypermotard 939 will be offered in Star White Silk and Ducati Red while the Hyperstrada 939 will be available only in the Ducati Red colour scheme.
Powering the all-new Hyperstrada and Hypermotard is a 937cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine from Ducati. This engine produces 112bhp, along with 98Nm of peak torque. An all-new exhaust system will be adopted in helping both bikes achieve its Euro 4 compliance.
The Hyperstrada 939 and Hypermotard 939 receives ride by wire throttle and three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Urban. Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres are fitted to the Hyperstrada 939. Ducati will equip it's Hypermotard 939 with Pirelli's Diablo Rosso II tyres for best traction and ride control.
Once launched, we expect Ducati to price the new motorcycles significantly higher than the outgoing models.
