BMW Motorrad Has Unveiled Its All-New K1600B Cruiser Motorcycle
BMW Motorrad has showcased its K1600B motorcycle ahead of its imminent launch. K1600B cruiser motorcycle takes inspiration from Concept 101 which was revealed in 2015. German-based two-wheeler manufacturer has developed the K1600B by keeping in mind touring enthusiasts.
Main focus of developing BMW K1600B cruiser motorcycle is the American market. Cruiser motorcycle segment is extremely popular in America, which is dominated by Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle. BMW Motorrad wants to battle in this segment and grab a share for itself.
In terms of design, BMW K1600B has been sculpted like a bagger. The cruiser motorcycle looks huge and bulky, however, BMW Motorrad has provided K1600B with sharp and edgy body lines. BMW Motorrad has opted for a completely modern looking bagger design with its K1600B.
Powering BMW's K1600B will be a 1,632cc, in-line six-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces 160bhp, along with 175Nm of peak torque output. BMW Motorrad will be equipping its K1600B with an electronic reverse feature for ease of parking.
With the K1600B model, BMW Motorrad now has six cruiser motorcycles on offer. It is unclear if BMW Motorrad will bring its K1600B cruiser motorcycle to the Indian market. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official launch of BMW K1600B.
