BMW G310R Spied Yet Again - More Pics!
BMW Motorrad's all-new entry-level motorcycle was once again spied without any camouflage. The BMW G310R was seen alongside several other TVS products in India. The global launch of the G310R is slated sometime during 2016-end.
The G310R will be manufactured in India at the TVS Motors' Hosur facility. Unfortunately, India is not expected to get the BMW G310R anytime soon. BMW Motorrad will initially cater to the European markets, prior to launching it in other parts of the world.
International markets will be receiving the BMW G310R in a phased manner, and in India, this motorcycle will be available by mid-2017. A high possibility exists that the TVS Akula 310 will be launched in India prior to the BMW G310R.
Powering the BMW G310R is a 313cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and will produce 34bhp, along with 28Nm of torque. On the suspension front, the BMW G310R will sport USD front forks and will ride on specially developed tyres from Michelin.
When launched in India, BMW G310R is expected to cost approximately Rs. 1.75 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh ex-showroom. The G310R motorcycle will compete in most countries with the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03, and Kawasaki Z250 models.
