Top 10 Selling Two-Wheelers In February 2016

Another month has gone by in the year 2016 and two-wheeler manufacturers have sold quite a number of two-wheelers in the past month. During January 2016, the Honda Activa was the best selling two-wheeler in India.

Has the scooter been beaten in February 2016? Let's take a look.

10. Bajaj CT

The Bajaj CT comes in the tenth position, having sold 42,924 units during Feb 2016. The Bajaj CT has proven to be a good selling commuter for the Pune based two-wheeler manufacturer.

9. Bajaj Pulsar

The popular Pulsar brand is slowly losing its charm to more powerful and affordable motorcycle in the Indian market. The Pulsar consists of several models and combined, Bajaj managed to sell 47,208 units. The basic model of the Pulsar is the LS135.

8. TVS Jupiter

Being the first scooter on the list so far, the TVS Jupiter is proving to be a good seller for TVS. The company managed to sell 47,712 units during February 2016, which is more than what Bajaj Pulsars sold.

7. Honda CB Shine

Taking the seventh spot is the first honda on the list, the Honda CB Shine, having sold 58,433 units in February. The Honda CB Shine has continuously been on the list of the best selling two-wheelers in India for a long time, and Honda also offers a Combi-Brake System (CBS) variant.

6. Hero Glamour

The Hero Glamour takes the sixth place on the list of top 10 best selling two-wheelers in India for the month of February 2016. Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 60,883 units of the motorcycle. The Glamour is offered with a drum as well as a disc brake variant.

5. TVS XL Super

Taking the fifth place is another TVS product, the XL Super. The XL Super is the only moped on the list and is also the only two-wheeler available with a choice of a two-stroke or a four-stroke engine.

4. Hero Passion

3. Hero HF Deluxe

Motorcycles made by Hero MotoCorp are like cars made by Maruti in India. They take the upper slots in the list, and taking the third position is the Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle, having sold 1,06,572 units in Feb 2016. The HF Deluxe is available in different variants, that come with alloy wheels, electric start, and kick start.

2. Hero Splendor

The Hero Splendor has been a good seller for the motorcycle maker since its launch as the Hero Honda Splendor. The Splendor sold 1,89,314 units in Feb 2016 alone.

1. Honda Activa

It's quite tough to accept the fact that the best-selling two-wheeler in India is a scooter. Honda has delivered a very strong product in the form of the Activa scooter, which is why it is at the top of the list. Honda managed to sell 2,10,028 units in a month, or rather 29 days.
