Top 10 Best Selling Two-Wheelers During December 2015
Two-wheelers have proved to be the best mode of transport in India, and especially the commuter segment. These are the vehicles that establish a two-wheeler manufacturer in the market in terms of sales.
So here's the list of top 10 selling two-wheelers in India during December 2015, compared to their sales during Dec 2014.
Note: Prices mentioned are approximate on-road values (Delhi)
10. Bajaj CT
Taking the tenth spot in the list of top 10 selling two-wheelers in India during December 2015 is the Bajaj CT, having sold 34,480 units. The CT is the only Bajaj model to feature on this list.
On-road price: Rs. 41.000/-
9. TVS Jupiter
At number 9 comes the first scooter on the list, the TVS Jupiter. The TVS Jupiter has seen healthy growth in the Indian market, having sold 47,217 units during December 2015. The TVS Jupiter competes with the Honda Activa 3G and the Mahindra Gusto 110.
On-road price: Rs. 55,000/-
8. Hero Glamour
Coming in at the number 8 position is the Hero Glamour. Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 48,748 units of the Glamour during December 2015, compared to selling 47,355 units during December 2014.
On-road price: Rs. 63,000/- onward
7. Honda CB Shine
Honda's CB Shine takes the seventh place, having sold 51,047 units during December 2015. The sales of the CB Shine has taken a fall compared to December 2014, when Honda sold 62,439 units.

6. Hero Maestro
At the sixth place is another product from Hero MotoCorp, the Maestro scooter, having sold 52,084 units. While the CB Shine has seen a drop in sales, the Maestro's sales has increased compared to December 2014. The Maestro sold 42,988 units in December 2014.

5. Hero Passion
The Hero Passion takes the fifth place, having sold 55,765 units in December 2015. The Passion too, has had a dip in sales compared to December 2014, having sold 84,753 units.

4. TVS XL Super
The TVS XL Super is the only two-stroke that is on sale in India, and is also the fourth best selling two-wheeler in India. During December 2015, TVS sold 56,521 units in India.
On-road price: Rs. 35,000/-
3. Hero HF Deluxe
The third best-selling two-wheeler in India is the Hero HF Deluxe. Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 93,451 units during December 2015, compared to selling 78,343 units during December 2014. The HF Deluxe is a good selling product for Hero MotoCorp.

2. Honda Activa
At the second place is Honda's best selling product in India, the Honda Activa scooter. During December 2015, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer managed to sell 1,74,154 units of the scooter, which is actually less compared to selling 1,80,879 units during 2014 December.
On-road price: Rs. 53,000/- onward
1. Hero Splendor
The Hero Splendor from Hero MotoCorp remains to be the best selling two-wheeler in India, although sales has dropped. During December 2015, Hero MotoCorp sold 1,84,856 units, compared to selling 2,15,161 units during december 2014.
