Bajaj V Launches 'Invincible Indians'
Bajaj's new venture with its V15 motorcyle sees the company launching the Invincible Indians platform where it celebrates the selfless achievements of everyday Indians.
Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj has launched a brand new platform that ties in with its V15 motorcycle. The platform is known as 'Invincible Indians' and it celebrates the selfless acts of service by everyday Indians.
At the launch of the 'Invincible Indians' platform, Bajaj along with India's first ever individual Olympic Gold Medalist honoured five 'Invincible Indians' and released five videos capturing the inspiring stories of these people.
Speaking at the event, Abhinav Bindra said, "I am extremely glad that Bajaj V has taken this noble step in recognizing these individuals who have dedicated their lives in doing extraordinary social work. Many a time, such heroic acts go untold and these heroes fade away in the pages of history. I am truly proud to be associated with this endeavor and urge every Indian to come forward in supporting it."
The five people honoured by Bajaj are:
Chewang Norphel
Mr. Norphel created 15 artificial glaciers in Ladakh to solve the perennial water crisis. Norphel was awarded a Padmashree in 2015.
Bipin Ganatra
Gantara helped rescue people from more than 100 fires in Kolkata and is recognized as a volunteer firefighter by the Kolkata Fire Department.
Omkar Nath Sharma
Sharma travels across the NCR region to collect medicines from people who no longer need them, and distributes it to clinics and hospitals who serve the poor.
Vijaylaxmi Sharma
Ms. Sharma leads a movement to eradicate child marriages in villages across Rajasthan.
Karimul Haque
Haque Converted his bike into an ambulance and offers a 24X7 ambulance services free of cost.
