Bajaj V Bookings Open Ahead Of March 2016 Launch
Bajaj Auto recently showcased its all-new motorcycle called 'V'. The motorcycle was revealed just before the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Now the Indian two-wheeler giant has commenced bookings of the motorcycle across the country.
Dealerships are accepting bookings for the Bajaj V at Rs. 5,000. Bajaj Auto is most likely to launch the all-new motorcycle in the country sometime in March. The V is most likely to bear a price tag of Rs. 65,000 ex-showroom at the time of launch.
Powering the Bajaj V is a 149.5cc single cylinder, air-cooled DTS-i engine. The engine produces 11.84bhp along with 13Nm of peak torque output and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj will be providing a total fuel tank capacity of 13 litres and is expected to be high on fuel efficiency.
The Bajaj V will be available in two colour options at the time of launch. Ebony Black and Pearl White are the only two paint schemes offered by Bajaj Auto. Design-wise the V from Bajaj mixes retro/classic with modern elements to attract a various type of buyers.
V from Bajaj has an unique selling proposition which will attract several Indians. The metal used to produce the bike was reclaimed from Indian warship, INS Vikrant. Most of the reclaimed metal is used by Bajaj for the fuel tank.
