Bajaj Pulsar CS400 Model Spied Up Close; Launching Soon
Bajaj Auto is still to launch its CS400 model that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. The CS400 test model has been spied on several occasions around Bajaj's facility in Chakan, Pune. Now here is a clear image of the upcoming model from the Indian two-wheeler giant.
Some time ago, Bajaj Auto had confirmed that an all-new big bike will be launched in the country. Bajaj has been testing the CS400 extensively, which means that its launch could be anticipated soon.
Powering the Bajaj CS400 will be a 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Performance figures have not been divulged so far, it is expected to be similar to the KTM 390 Duke and RC390 models. As part of the safety package, we expect to see dual channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard equipment.
The CS400 by Bajaj Auto could bear a different name at the time of launch. Expect the CS400 to be priced extremely competitively against the KTM 390 range in India. We believe that Bajaj Auto could price the CS400 model between Rs. 1.75 lakh to 1.95 lakh on-road.
In terms of features, the CS400 will be receiving a host of segment first features. The CS400 will be Bajaj's first real big bike for the domestic market. As shown in concept form, the model will get LED lightings, digital instrumentation, and several other tech goodies.
