Bajaj Pulsar CS400 Launch Confirmed For August
The much awaited Bajaj CS400 will be launched in India in August. Speaking to a website, Rajiv Bajaj, the MD of Bajaj Auto confirmed that the Pulsar will be launched next month.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 had been spotted testing multiple times, which hinted the motorcycle's launch in the Indian market. The CS400 will be Bajaj's largest displacement motorcycle.
Speaking about what powers the Bajaj CS400 will be a 375cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is estimated to produce around 35bhp and 33Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The CS400 is an important motorcycle for Bajaj's portfolio, since a whole new range of motorcycles could be developed using the engine platform. The Bajaj CS400 is expected to be a tourer, instead of a performance oriented motorcycle like the KTM Duke 390.
When launched, the Bajaj CS400 could face competition from the Mahindra Mojo and could be priced under the Rs. 1.8 lakh bracket.
