Bajaj Kratos VS400 Could Most Likely Be Offered In 2 Variants
Bajaj Auto is constantly trying to add more value and sensibility to its products. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer believes that customers should be capable of making an informed purchase.
Now, reports suggest that the soon to be launched Kratos VS400 will be offered with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option. This means that the motorcycle will be offered at two price points. Majority buyers will opt for the option that is affordable and reasonable at the point of purchase.
The Indian Government plans on improving road safety for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Two-wheelers will have to be equipped with ABS as a standard safety feature. Several manufacturers are already following this safety trend for customer benefit.
Bajaj Officials have openly claimed that the Kratos VS400 would be competing against Royal Enfield products. So far, none of the Royal Enfield products sold in India comes equipped with ABS as standard fitment. Thus, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 will be offered with a non-ABS version for competitive pricing purpose.
Previously, the Bajaj Kratos VS400 was seen testing with dual-channel ABS. This means that both front and rear tyres will receive ABS advantage. Providing customers with the option of a non-ABS model would bring down pricing to approximately Rs. 1.6 lakh to 1.8 lakh ex-showroom.
