The most awaited motorcycle from Bajaj, the Kratos VS400 will be launched in India in November 2016. Bajaj has already started dispatching the motorcycle to the dealerships.
As per the sources, Bajaj Auto is all geared up for the launch of its new flagship motorcycle in the country. The Bajaj dealerships in Mumbai have confirmed that the Kratos VS400 will be launched this month.
The sources also revealed that Bajaj has started dispatching the motorcycle to dealerships and the Kratos VS400 will be available at dealership stockyards by mid-November.
Bajaj has done the billing for the first batch of dispatched motorcycles and the exact launch date of the Kratos VS400 is yet to be revealed.
The Bajaj Kratos VS400 was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo as a concept motorcycle. The motorcycle was named as Pulsar CS400. Later on, it was stated that the motorcycle was renamed as Pulsar VS400 where VS stands for Vantage Sport.
And in the latest developments, Bajaj revealed that the new motorcycle will not be launched under Pulsar brand. A new brand name called Kratos was finalised for the launch.
The Bajaj Kratos VS400 draws power from the 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, triple-spark DTS-i engine. The Kratos VS400 shares the same power unit used in the KTM Duke 390.
Although the engine is tuned differently and is expected to produce around 35bhp of power. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox and the motorcycle gets the slipper clutch for performance.

Dual channel ABS will be offered as an option. The motorcycle is expected to be launched with a price tag of around Rs 1.5 to Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
