Bajaj Dominar 400 With Dual Channel ABS Spied Ahead Of Launch
The Bajaj Dominar 400 equipped with dual-channel ABS has been spotted at the dealership.
The much awaited motorcycle from Bajaj, the Dominar 400 is a day away from its launch and the motorcycle equipped with dual channel ABS has been spotted ahead of its launch.
The motorcycle was spotted at a local dealership and the images of the Dominar 400 has landed on the internet. The motorcycle features a dual channel ABS. The new cruiser sport is the most powerful motorcycle from Bajaj Auto.
Apart from that the Dominar 400 features fully digital split instrument cluster, LED headlamps which is first in the segment and blue backlit switchgear.
The new split instrument cluster features a primary display mounted on the handlebar which relays information such as speed, RPM, tripmeter and fuel level indicator, while the secondary display on the fuel tank displays the tell tale lights for ABS, side-stand and the Bajaj logo.
The cruiser sport motorcycle is powered by a 373.2cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine which is borrowed from the KTM Duke 390. But the engine is retuned to produce 35bhp, apart from that the engine also gets Bajaj's Triple Spark Technology.
The power delivery of the motorcycle is expected to be linear to go with the cruiser tagline unlike the aggressive power delivery of the KTM Duke 390. The motorcycle gets five-spoke split spoke rims wrapped with the MRF tubeless tyres.
The Dominar 400 has not changed much compared to the CS 400 Concept showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. The only major difference is the production variant misses out on the upside down forks at the front and the front disc brake is now positioned in the right-hand side.
The Bajaj Damier 400 is expected to be launched with a price tag of Rs 1.8 lakh (on-road Delhi) for the single-channel ABS variant and Rs 2.2 lakh (on-road Delhi) for the dual-channel ABS model.
