Bajaj Discover 150 Likely To Be Discontinued Owing To Sales
The Discover 150 motorcycles from Bajaj Auto is most likely to be discontinued. Recently, Bajaj Discover witnessed zero sales in the Indian market during October 2016.
Bajaj Auto is most likely to discontinue several models and will be bringing new models. Old models are not driving high volume sales for Bajaj Auto. New models will boost sales for the Indian manufacturer.
Now Discover 150 model has witnessed no sales in the last few months. Bajaj Auto is now likely to discontinue its Discover 150 motorcycle owing to poor sales. During October 2016, Bajaj dealerships experienced zero sales of their 150cc premium commuter motorcycle.
Previously, Bajaj Auto launched two versions of the 150cc premium commuter motorcycle. The Discover 150F and the Discover 150S models are on sale currently. Bajaj officials had earlier admitted that adding so many variants was a mistake on their part and has affected sales.
The Bajaj Discover models are powered by a 144.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine produces 14.30bhp, along with 12.75Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj had provided the motorcycle with DTS-i and ExhausTEC engine technology.
Very soon, Bajaj Auto will be launching an all-new flagship motorcycle in India. The Dominar 400 motorcycle will be launched on December 15, 2016. Bajaj Auto will be entering an all-new realm of two-wheeler segment in India as well as in other international markets.
