Bajaj 200NS To Feature ABS For Indian & International Markets
Bajaj Auto revamped its Pulsar line-up with the all-new 200NS model in the Indian market. The Pulsar 200NS was introduced in several markets sometime during 2012. Indian-based two-wheeler manufacturer now plans on adding more oomph to its existing model.
The Pulsar 200NS is most likely to get ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) as an upcoming update for added value. It is currently unclear if the manufacturer will provide a single or dual channel ABS system. We are sure that when introduced, Bajaj will provide ABS as an option and not a standard feature.
No major mechanical changes will be carried out on the upcoming Pulsar 200NS model. There could be a possibility of a fuel injected engine that will be more efficient than the existing carburettor model. Bajaj could also provide new and exciting colours to distinguish the ABS models.
Previously, Bajaj Auto provided only the Pulsar RS200 model with optional single channel ABS. The two-wheeler manufacturer believes that usually it is the front wheel that locks up and causes accidents. With the inclusion of ABS on the front wheel, Bajaj will provide the 200NS with much-needed safety.
The pricing for Pulsar 200NS with ABS will surely witness an increase over the regular model. We expect Bajaj Auto will ask for approximately Rs. 4,000 more for the 200NS with ABS in the Indian market. Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming products from Bajaj Auto.
