2016 MotoGP Championship has almost come to an end with just one race remaining. At the 2016 Valencia GP, Aprilia Racing team will adorn an all-new livery. The Italian outfit will be partnering with RED in its fight against AIDS, tuberculosis, and Malaria.
RED has been founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver and has teamed up with Piaggio Group. Aprilia Racing and RED will be launching a special hashtag to follow the race weekend. Enthusiasts can follow the developments using #iRideRED on Twitter and Facebook.
The 2016 Valencia GP also marks the last race of Bautista and Bradl with Aprilia MotoGP team. It will be a fitting outing for both riders as they get to adorn an all-new livery. RED believes that many companies are red, however, only Aprilia is (RED) in spirit.
Stefan Bradl will be leaving MotoGP and joining Nicky Hayden with Honda in WSBK Championship. Alvaro Bautista, on the other hand, will continue competing in MotoGP. Bautista will be riding for Apar Ducati MotoGP Team during the 2017 Championship.
Aprilia MotoGP Team will take on Aleix Espargaro and Sam Lowes for 2017 Championship. Espargaro is known for developing motorcycles and could bring Aprilia back on to winning ways. Lowes is one of the rookies joining MotoGP in 2017 and will take a while getting used to MotoGP race machine.
