For 2017, Aprilia will be introducing an all-new Dorsoduro 900 motorcycle. This new model will replace the existing Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 in all international markets.

Aprilia has showcased its all-new Dorsoduro 900 motorcycle at the 2016 EICMA Motor Show. This new model will be replacing the existing Dorsoduro 750 motorcycle worldwide. New Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 motorcycle will be launched in several markets by 2017.

Dorsoduro 900 is powered by an all-new 896cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine now produces 95bhp, along with 89Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Aprilia now confirms that this new engine will be compliant to Euro 4 emission norms.

The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 engine was not compliant to Euro 4 emission norms. This was one of the main reasons for introducing an all-new Dorsoduro 900 model. Due to this update, Aprilia will now be capable of introducing the Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 in India as well.

New Dorsoduro 900 by Aprilia will be packed with features. The motorcycle now receives Kayaba front forks with preload and rebound adjustment. Rear shock absorber receives only preload adjustment. Aprilia also provides ABS, 3-leve traction control, and ride-by-wire system.

Once launched the Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 will take on tough competition. The Dorsoduro 900 will take on the likes of Ducati Hypermotard 939, Yamaha MT-09, and Suzuki V-Strom. So far, pricing has not been revealed, however. it will be revealed closer to international launch.
