2017 Honda Unicorn 160 Launched With BSIV Compliant Engine
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the 2017 Unicorn 160 with the upgraded BSIV engine to comply with the new emission norms.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has updated the Unicorn 160 to comply with the upcoming BSIV emission norms.
The 2017 Honda Unicorn 160 remains identical to its outgoing model. To distinguish the refreshed model, Honda is offering a new Matte Blue paint scheme.along with the Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Grey, Pearl Amazing White and Imperial Red Metallic colour options.
The new Honda Unicorn 160 draws power from the same 162.71cc single cylinder engine which produces 13.82bhp of power and 13.92Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
There is a drop in the power output compared to its previous model's 14.5bhp, but the older engine was a BSIII compliant engine. The new engine's output is close to that of the Unicorn 150 which produces 13.14bhp.
The 2017 Honda Unicorn 160 is equipped with Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature. The updated motorcycle also gets a new visor and it is taller by 2mm.
The updated Unicorn 160 continues to feature the Combined Braking System (CBS). The price tag of the BSIII model stands at Rs 732,802 for standard variant and Rs 75,255 for CBS version (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The BS-IV model costs Rs 73,552 ex-showrom Delhi for standard variant and Rs 76,005 ex-showroom Delhi for CBS variant.
