The Bajaj Pulsar 220F 2017 model has been spotted at a dealership. Bajaj Auto has already stated that the 2017 range of Pulsar motorcycles will be launching by this year end.
Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, Rajiv Bajaj in an interview last month, said, "I am very pleased to say that we are going to launch between now and December, the 2017 range of the Pulsar, so significant change will be there in both their appearance and performance".
The Pulsar 220F is powered by 220cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, DTS-i engine. The engine is said to be BS-IV compliant.
As per the reports the power, torque and the mileage will be improved in the upgraded engine. Currently, the 220CC engine produces 21bhp and 19.12Nm of torque.
Coming to the design, the new motorcycle features new dual tone colour scheme which looks good but it's not a major change.
The exhaust of the 2017 Pulsar 220F gets a matt black finish matching the colour of wheels, it adds to the sporty looks of the motorcycle. The exhaust also gets chrome detailing.
Apart from that the auto choke has been replaced by manual choke and it gets a blue lighting for the instrument console.
According to the reports, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is expected to launch in this month in the Indian market. Bajaj will be also revamping its other Pulsar models too in the near future.
