2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Revealed Ahead Of Launch
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been fully revealed ahead of its launch. The motorcyle features minor changes in terms of design.
After the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F was spotted at a dealership, now it's the 2017 Pulsar 180's turn. The updated motorcycle is completely revealed ahead of its launch.
Going through the images, we can notice that the design of the new Pulsar 180 remains identical to its previous model with only minor changes done to the 2017 variant.
The 2017 Pulsar 180 gets an updated instrument cluster with blue backlight instead of orange as seen of current Pulsar 180 and also the clip on handlebars gets the matte black finish.
The seating cushion of the Pulsar 180 has also been updated, the new seat is softer compared to the current model.
One of the biggest change seen on the new Pulsar 180 is the addition of the rear disc brake. This will definitely help in improving the braking performance of the motorcycle.
Although not much is revealed about the engine specification. But the updated engine is compliant with the new BSIV emission norms. Which means the engine is more efficient than the current-gen model.
With the updated engine we can expect a slight improvement in the performance department too. The new Pulsar 180 will be powered by the same 178.6cc air-cooled engine and mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The current Pulsar 180 produces 17.02bhp and 14.22Nm of torque. Although it is confirmed that the new Pulsars will be more powerful than the older one, the exact performance figures will be revealed at the time of launch.
