Yamaha YZF-R3 Launched In India: Spec, Features & Details
Yamaha has launched its YZF-R3 sportsbike in India on 11th of August, 2015 at the Buddh International Circuit. It is currently available only in two colour options - Midnight Black and Racing Blue.
The YZF-R3 is priced at 3,25,000 ex-showroom, Delhi, and will be available in showrooms from the following week. Yamaha also offers the YZF-R3 in the United States of America and European markets.
Here is the engine specification of Yamaha YZF-R3:
- Engine: 321cc in-line two cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled
- Horsepower: 41.42
- Torque: 29.6 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed constant mesh
- Chassis: Diamond frame
The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has provided YZF-R3 with stylish 17-inch 10 spoke cast wheels. Yamaha has also equipped the motorcycle with 298mm and 220mm front and rear disc brakes.
The YZF-R3 adopts Yamaha's R design which is provided to their YZF-R1, YZF-R6, YZF-R15 and YZF-R125. Aerodynamic bodywork, dual headlights and MotoGP inspired technology have been all put together for an amazing everyday sportsbike.
