Yamaha YZF-R15 S Launched In India For INR 1,14,000
Yamaha YZF-R15 when launched for the very first time in India was a massive success, which made the brand popular in the country once again. Currently the second generation of the sportsbike is sold in India.
Now it may sound strange, however, the Japanese manufacturer has re-introduced its first gen YZF-R15 in the country. It will now be sold as 'Yamaha YZF-R15 S' and is priced at INR 1,14,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Main reason for the launch of Yamaha YZF-R15 S is the demand in India for a comfortable sportsbike. The single seat on offer on this model is more comfortable for long rides, both for rider and pillion.
Do not worry though, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will not discontinue the YZF-R15 Version 2.0 model. Both models will be sold side by side and the YZF R15 S is expected to attract several buyers wanting comfort over looks.
Yamaha will be providing their YZF-R15 S model with new colours and graphic options. This will set it apart from the current model sold in India. They will share several components to save production costs.
