Yamaha Saluto & Fascino Boost Sales Up By 16.5 Percent During July
Yamaha India has an extensive product offering comprising of scooters and motorcycles. They recently launched a few new products in Indian market to boost up their sales during July, 2015.
The Saluto commuter motorcycle and Fascino scooter were recently launched by Yamaha. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer confirms that both motorcycles have boosted domestic sales by 16.5 percent.
Yamaha has also focussed on growing its dealership network. They will be launching their all-new YZF-R3 motorcycle on 11th August, 2015 which will further boost sales.
During July, 2014 Yamaha India managed to sell 50,286 two-wheelers. They this time managed to sell 58,591 two-wheeler in July, 2015, which is a growth of 16.5 percent. Export has also increased from 15,654 to 16,689 a growth of 6.6 percent.
Roy Kurian, V.P. Sales & Marketing, Yamaha, expressed, "The incessant growth numbers are a sign of Yamaha's robust business plan and strategic customer engagement programs."
He further added, "Our new stylish Scooter ‘Fascino' and 125 cc bike Yamaha Saluto, have indeed been key in boosting our sales. We will continue to bring new excitement to our customers with new products and marketing initiatives which will help us post record numbers in the coming months as well."
