Yamaha India Imports Two 150cc Scooters For R&D Purpose
Japanese based two-wheeler manufacturer, Yamaha recently launched its Fascino scooter in India. This scooter is designed for those who want a trendy and head-turner model.
Now Yamaha India has imported two models of their 150cc scooter for R&D purposes. These scooters are the XC155 or better known as Majesty S models from Yamaha's stable.
Here are the technical specifications of Yamaha Majesty S:
- Engine: 155cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injection
- Horsepower: 14.78
- Torque: 13.72 Nm
Currently Yamaha India offers Alpha, Ray, Ray-Z and Fascino scooter which share the same engine. Japanese engineer uses its 113cc single cylinder with Blue Core technology engine in its scooters.
Yamaha will be the only scooter to offer a 150cc scooter in Indian market. As of now Honda offers a 125cc Activa and is planning on introducing its PCX 150 scooter in the country.
We will provide you with more information as and when it is available. Yamaha has not provided a launch date for its Majesty S scooter. It could also be an export only model that could be manufactured in India.
