Yamaha Celebrate Zippy’s 1st Birthday With Carnival & Safety Programme
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer had introduced a mascot during last year. Yamaha will be celebrating the first birthday of their mascot ‘Zippy' across India. They have planned several customer engaging events as part of the celebration.
Zippy, Yamaha's mascot was introduced in India to aid in the Yamaha Children Safety Program. The celebrations will commence from 9th of January, 2015 across 120 dealerships in India. They have called this function as the Zippy Birthday Carnival.
Yamaha India will also organise safety riding program for women. This will help in creating awareness regarding road safety for women as well as children. The Japanese manufacturer will be conducting special programmes for residents of Nirmal Chaya in Delhi and SOS Children's Village in Chennai.
The Japanese manufacturer is also planning of hosting Zippy Traffic Safety Awareness. This will be done at various traffic signal in the city of Chennai. By doing so Yamaha's mascot Zippy will create awareness among two-wheelers on issues of road and traffic safety.
During 2014, Yamaha Children Safety Program organised activities in approximately 706 schools across India. They witnessed over 2,42,000 students participating in the events. Yamaha had covered almost 121 cities in India, which is a feat in itself.
Zippy was the first mascot by Yamaha that helps them in their safety campaigns. This movement was formed to create awareness among families and especially children of India. The manufacturer has been able to connect with its customers more efficiently owing to Zippy the mascot.
