TVS, Yamaha, Bajaj, & Eicher To Provide Free Service Camp
Two-wheeler manufacturers like TVS, Yamaha, Bajaj, and Eicher (Royal Enfield) have agreed to organise a free vehicle service camp to help the flood victims of Chennai. The camp will be organised for 10 days to fix damaged vehicles that took a toll in the flood.
The auto manufacturers agreed to organise this free service camp after the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa requested them.
In an official release, the Chief Minister said, "I have requested TVS, Yamaha Motor, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors to provide free service and based upon that, the companies have decided to conduct camps."
Two and three-wheelers were the most affected in Chennai and surrounding places due to the flood. The free service camps will be held from 12 to 21 December, in various locations in Chennai, Thiruvallur, and Cuddalore districts.
