TVS Victor To Be Relaunched In India Alongside Premium Motorcycle
TVS Motors has not launched any new product for the Indian market for a while now. The Chennai based manufacturing unit plans to introduce and regain its market share in 2015.
They will be introducing two new products for India during 2015. TVS will bring back its Victor for customers along with a premium motorcycle that caters to niche market.
The Victor had been discontinued in India a few years ago. This motorcycle by TVS was their offering that was targeted to the mass market.
TVS will maintain design of its Victor and is expected to provide more features that will entice commuter segment in India. It is expected to compete in the highly competitive commuter segment in India.
Premium motorcycle will come from the BMW-TVS alliance that was formed in 2013. Their first motorcycle is expected to launch in India during 2015 and will be a new chapter.
BMW-TVS has been developing a sub-500cc engine for new markets. This new premium motorcycle will be launched individually by TVS and BMW as well. Both will have different features and its own Unique Selling Points(USP), they will share components to lower costs.
Both motorcycles by TVS Motors will be introduced in India within 2015. This also means that BMW could introduce their version of the collaboration in India very soon. They will also update their entire range of two-wheelers with mild updates.
