TVS Jupiter Disc Brake Variant Most Likely To Launch In August

TVS Motors is planning to launch several new products in the upcoming months. They currently offer a wide range of scooters and motorcycles in the country.

One of their most popular scooters in India has to be the Jupiter, which is their best seller. Now TVS motors will be introducing a disc brake variant Jupiter in India most likely by August, 2015.

Here are the engine specifications of TVS Jupiter:

• Engine: 110cc single cylinder, air-cooled
• Horsepower: 7
• Torque: 8 Nm
• Fuel efficiency: 62 kpl (under standard condition)

To differentiate TVS Jupiter disc variant from regular models, they are most likely to provide a few new colour options as well. They will replace front drum brake for disc brake, thus, providing better braking.

Currently the standard version of Jupiter costs INR 49,948 ex-showroom, Mumbai. Disc brake variant by TVS is expected to cost roughly INR 3,000 to INR 5,000 more than regular model.

No other changes are expected to occur on TVS Jupiter disc variant. Stay tuned for more updates from the Indian manufacturer as and when we get them.
