Triumph Records Highest Global Sales In Last 30 Years
British two-wheeler manufacturer Triumph has a wide range of products on offer. They have recently begun their India expansion program along with global expansion as well. When they launched their products in India, they offered their entire range from the very beginning.
Triumph has promoted their brand strongly on a global platform. This has resulted in a positive manner as the manufacturer has reported tremendous growth. The British manufacturer claims that 2014 has been the best year in terms of sales over the last 30 years.
Globally Triumph sold over 54,432 motorcycles, the highest sales in 30 years. The British manufacturer is witnessing a year-on-year growth of almost 4.5 percent. In India alone, Triumph reported sales of 1,300 motorcycles, which was not expected by the manufacturer.
Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India expressed, "In India, we have had a dream run this past year having clocked 1300 sales. We are delighted with the way things have panned out for us in the last year. It has been extremely rewarding in terms of both sales and the love we have got from Triumph enthusiasts."
Paul Stroud, Director Sales and Marketing, Triumph Motorcycles India, commented, "2014 has been a hugely successful year for Triumph Motorcycles. Growing markets like India and Brazil have been extremely critical and gratifying at the same time and they have contributed substantially to our overall figures."
Triumph plans to introduce more motorcycles in India and around the world in the future. They are investing a lot of money into future models. In 2014, the British manufacturer reported group turnover of 364 million Pounds and also accounted for eight million Pounds of managed loss.
