Triumph & Smile Foundation To Contribute For Girl Child Education
On 15th of August, 2015 India will be celebrating its 69th year of Independence. Triumph Motorcycles India will be organising a Ride For Freedom across the nation.
The British two-wheeler manufacturer will be teaming up with Smile Foundation to support a noble cause. Triumph Riders will be pledging to contribute for Girl Child Education in India.
Vimal Sumbly, M.D., Triumph Motorcycles India expressed, "Girls are still not allowed to right for education in many parts of India. True Independence is when all citizens can enjoy all the fundamental rights of our country."
He further added, "In Smile Foundation, we found that perfect partner who felt the same for the girl child in India and we hope that this small contribution will be a catalyst to encourage others towards providing elementary education to the girl child."
Triumph Riders participating in ‘Ride for Freedom' can contribute between INR 500 to INR 4,200. The Smile Foundation will use all contributions to facilitate education towards the girl child in India.
Rides are being organised in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Flag-offs will be from Triumph Dealerships to certain spots and back.
