Suzuki Two-Wheelers Witness Growth In December, 2014
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has introduced a few new vehicles in 2014. They have also announced that a few will be discontinued. Their goal is to strengthen its existing product portfolio and grow their sales.
The two-wheeler manufacturer has reported an increase of 42.65 percent growth in terms of sales. It has been a long time since Suzuki has grown significantly in the recent past. Most of its sales are due to its new products, which have been launched in 2014.
Their sales for December, 2013 was 20,355 for both motorcycles and scooters in India. Suzuki Motorcycles India reported an increase of 42.65 percent by selling 29,036 two-wheelers in December, 2014.
Atul Gupta, Suzuki Motorcycle India Executive Vice President, commented, "Growth in sales indicates that the market is responding favourably to our products. we hope this trend continues into the new year 2015."
He further added, "Our concerted efforts to promote the GIXXER and Let's have met with positive customer sentiment. Customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth publicity are key factors that work in our favour."
The Japanese manufacturer will be refreshing most of its existing products to appeal to the modern generation. They are also planning of introducing more interesting products in the coming future that will help boost their sales in India.
