Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will be rejoining MotoGP after a short sabbatical. Their machinery will be ridden by Alexis Espargaro, who was top CRT rider of 2014 and Maverick Vinales, who was judged Moto2 rookie of 2014.
Every manufacturer would like to be on top in MotoGP and an excellent product i which it can offer all their race technology. Suzuki have seen Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki take the step forward and build more powerful and better looking motorcycles for 2015.
At 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Suzuki showcased a one of a kind concept. Now it seems like this concept may go into production soon, it was called the ‘Recursion'. The Japanese manufacturer is perhaps impressed by the overwhelming response received by a fellow turbocharged motorcycle.
The Recursion by Suzuki is expected to sport a 588cc twin-cylinder engine and it will be turbocharged. Performance figures have not been revealed by the manufacturer and is expected once the development phase commences.
Suzuki has not any all new products recently, they have introduced only refreshes to their existing lineup of motorcycles. This new product could turn their company around and bring them back into the limelight.
Currently more and more manufacturers are trying to exploit the possibilities of using turbocharged systems. Kawasaki has already developed and is selling their Ninja H2 and H2R hyperbikes across the globe. The next manufacturer taking a step forward seems to be Suzuki with its Recursion.
Suzuki has not confirmed pricing or an expected launch period as of now. We believe this motorcycle could take a while and a close to production model can be expected by the end of 2015.
