Suzuki New Hayate Motorcycle Launched At INR 59,523
Suzuki Motorcycles is gearing up for the festive season, which is coming up soon in India. During this period several individuals buy two-wheelers and four-wheelers as it is considered an auspicious time.
The Hayate commuter motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer has been updated for 2015 festive season. Suzuki Motorcycles has provided cosmetic as well as mechanical updates.
The new Suzuki Hayate has been priced at INR 59,523 on-road, Mumbai. The Japanese manufacturer has not witnessed huge sales as expected with this commuter motorcycle and updates will lure buyers.
Here are the technical specifications of 2015 Suzuki Hayate:
- Engine: 112.8cc single cylinder, air-cooled
- Horsepower: 8.3
- Torque: 8.8 Nm
- Gearbox: 4-speed transmission
It will now be equipped with adjustable 5-step rear shock absorbers. Suzuki will also provide tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery and stylish 5-spoke alloy wheels

Suzuki's Hayate faces tough competition in Indian market from Honda, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motors, Bajaj Auto and Mahindra Two Wheelers. We expect several other models in Suzuki to get cosmetic updates soon.
