Suzuki Gixxer SF To Be Launched On 7th April In India
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki will be launching a fully-faired motorcycle. They have christened this new product as the ‘Gixxer SF' and will be launching it on 7th April, 2015.
Suzuki Gixxer SF is based on their naked street fighter motorcycle the Gixxer. Underneath all the fairing, it will be the same old motorcycle with an advanced aerodynamic package.
Gixxer SF bookings have commenced and it is one of the most awaited motorcycles from Suzuki stables. The Gixxer has risen to popularity, due to various reasons and Suzuki is expecting the same with its fully faired version.
Powering Suzuki's Gixxer SF will be the similar engine in their naked street fighter version:
- Engine: 154.9 cc
- Horsepower: 14.59
- Torque: 24 Nm
- Gearbox: 5-speed
- Cooling system: Air-cooled
Suzuki will offer its Gixxer SF in limited colours and we believe the manufacturer will offer a very special MotoGP livery as well. Salman Khan will continue to be the brand ambassador for this motorcycle.
In terms of pricing, we expect it to be priced considerably lower than its competitors. The Yamaha YZF-R15 and Honda CBR 150R are close rivals, however, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will also factor into this competition.
Let us know in the comment section, what you think of Suzuki's new fully faired motorcycle? Will Gixxer SF witness success just like its naked street fighter version did in India?
