Royal Enfield Launch Limited Edition Bike & Gear By Despatch Riders
Royal Enfield recently introduced a limited edition motorcycle, along with a flagship gear store in Khan Market, New Delhi. The motorcycles have been inspired by Despatch Riders of World Wars and will be available all over india.
The job of a Despatch Rider was to transfer information from headquarters to ground force. They would ride days and nights together in harsh and tough terrain, which made a difference in victory or loss.
This limited edition as well as gear pays homage to Despatch Riders of World Wars. Royal Enfield will provide colours like browns, greens, olive, tan and blues. They will have retro styling with use of modern materials.
Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO, Eicher Motors Ltd. expressed, "Royal Enfield has been instrumental in creating and growing the leisure motorcycling segment in India over the last 60 years. One of the major gaps that our customers have faced while adventuring on our motorcycles around the country is the lack of good motorcycle apparel and accessories."
He further added, "We believe that with our expanded offering of purpose built, meticulously detailed and well crafted motorcycle gear, our riders will enjoy their motorcycling experience even more."
